A look at the types of flooring we install across the GTA. Real project photos are on the way — the placeholders below show the range of materials and spaces we handle.

A look at the range of resilient flooring we install across the GTA — from healthcare and commercial buildouts to residential renovations. Want your space to look like this? Let's talk.
Get Your Project StartedA quick guide to the materials and spaces shown above, and what each one is actually chosen for.
Offices, retail units, clinics and institutional spaces make up a large share of our work. These jobs are driven by durability and downtime: the floor has to survive years of rolling traffic, and the space usually can't be closed for long. That's why so much commercial work uses VCT or carpet tile — both can be repaired in sections without redoing the whole floor.
Anywhere hygiene and water are concerns, we install heat-welded sheet vinyl. The seams are welded rather than simply glued, and the material is often coved up the wall so there's no joint at floor level for water to get into. It's the standard for clinics, labs and commercial washrooms.
On the residential side, most projects are glue-down LVT/LVP or sheet vinyl — waterproof, quiet underfoot, and realistic enough that most people can't pick it from hardwood. Basements are the most common request, since a waterproof floor over a concrete slab solves a problem laminate and engineered wood can't.
Almost every finished floor pictured here sits on work that's invisible in a photograph. Subfloor prep — moisture testing, patching, self-levelling and removing old material — is what stops seams lifting and dips telegraphing through. It's the biggest difference between a floor that photographs well on day one and one that still looks right years later.
To be straight with you: the images above are representative examples of the materials and spaces we work with, not photos of past Apex jobs. We're replacing them with our own project photography as work completes. If you'd like to talk through examples relevant to your project, call or text 416-889-8273.
